Does anyone know which is the best and most recent FM2006 data update?

The best update for FM2006 is as above, buy FM2007 and install patch 2.

However, if you wish to stick with FM2006, then goto www.sigames.com and find the downloads section. Search out FM2006 and official patches. The one with the newest date will be the latest patch. It is more than likely to include the most recent transfers that happened arounds its release date, so a restart of game would be required for it to work.

I have 6.0.3

I was more thinking of a data patch like the fansites used to make them for the old CM.

Data updates from fansites are fine. Try FM Underground or Sortitoutsi

JunkBot, to get the latest FM2007 patch follow my instructions in previous post, but search for FM2007 rather than 06.
