FN Key CM Quickfire TK (Broken?)

No matter what i do it won't illuminate or function, anybody got any ideas?

I assume you tried holding the button down until it came on, rather than just press it?

of course, and nothing..

If you hold for 3 or so seconds then it should light up and you can then adjust the backlight options and use the media keys instead of F1,etc. If you cannot then the switch is most probably dead, if you can adjust the backlight options, etc. but there is no light then it is just the LED.
