Trying to find these for a case I have got that has had the filter torn away from the front intake. Coolermaster Spares only have the small 5.25" pieces of this foam listed for the Stacker case.

I am NOT asking for what onlince shop etc to buy these at. Just what they are called exactly - ie what would you search for? Tried everything I can think off on the auction sites and google, but nout as yet except aluminium meshes or fan guards with foam filter built in.

 Not keen on these filters, as I always find that the temps go up with them fitted  Why dont you just switch of the power supply and clean your case out once and a while?? with a dry paint brush, works for me ;) :D :D

Yup, I've noticed my stacker's temps go up dramatically after a few months with them in, and they're a right pain to get out and clean on the stackers too. :(

As for what you're looking for, from some Googling (;)), I found a US site selling what you're after. The technical name is Reticulated Polyurethane Foam, but take care you don't end up with a bath sponge instead of a fan filter. :)

if i took it out of the blowhole on my wavemaster (only been in about 1 week) woudl the temps improve?

As it's a blow hole there is really no need for it to be there in the first place! It make me question the way the fans should be set up puttinh a "dust filter" in the blow hole (exhust)
