Foam in New coolant?

Hi,

Just drained my loop and used deionised water and cleaned it so it was coming out clear. Put in new ek cyofuel and it's foamy. Any ideas?

Temps have come down 8 degrees so happy at that but it's purple coolant and at the bottom of the reservoir it looks a bit red.

New fluid will be foamy until air is bled from your loop

Best way to bleed? Just leave the fill cap off for a bit? Already tilted the case from side to side and loads of big air bubbles moved into the res

Pretty much, make sure you've got no leaks then put some temperature into your blocks and it should bleed itself and get rid of the bubbles.
