Focus 1.6 TDCI Engine Diagram

hiya,

after a diagram of the 1.6 tdci (05 plate focus) engine/engine bay, trying to find out what a part is called so i can describe it to a garage easily without them charging me for diagnosis.

The part in question is attached to the air intake pipe at the front of the engine (i think thats what its called) it then bolts to the gear box at the bottom of the engine.

These bolts have sheared which causes a loud rattle sound when the engine is on.

Any help appreciated.

Take a picture of your engine bay?

The part thats damaged is under the engine and covered by the skuff shield thingy so cant access it without the car on a lift.

My Haynes manual has a diagram of the underside of the engine bay.

To be honest it sounds like an engine mount.

turns out it was the intercooler support bracket, getting it sorted for 30 quid tomorrow
