Hey, Recently bought a 2003 MK1 Ford focus which has a 6000cd head unit, Wanting to upgrade it for Dab+Bluetooth I Have found two heads units i like the 1 din Alpine CDE-136BT and the 2 din Pioneer AVH-X3500DAB.

For the Alpine i could get an adaptor to fill the space left over, but For the pioneer though ( I think) i would need to replace the stereo and clock fascia for a 2 din one to fit in as the stock isn't a normal size.
And then im thinking of using 2 sets of JL Audio C2-570x in the doors, wanting to try keep the setup quite simple.

Anyone know if i have this is correct before i splash the cash or have better choices or ideas?.

Correct, double din stereo would need a bit of work / fabricating too fit in. You are best off with a signle din and adaptor.

Hey, Got round to fitting Alpine CDE-136BT head unit, JL Audio C2-570x speakers and a Kinetic DRA-6001 aerial, And now ended up with the aerial power cable at the top of the door as its only 1 metre long, Will go into town tomorrow anyone know what cable i need, To get it down to the head unit and then powered?.

The supposed +12V switched output from many radios is rather low. It is best, therefore, to connect the aerial’s power cable to the switched power supply (normally red)to the radio, not to the switched power supply (normally blue) from the radio. Ideally the connection should be via a 0.5 amp in-line fuse.
