Just in case any of you are going and expecting to see Canon. Canon have announced that they are not attending as it directly clashes with PMA in the States. Hadn't seen this mentioned any where else here, so just a heads up for the Canon peeps here.

yeah.. dont they have a EU/UK division and a US one? could they not possibly each do a show?!? i mean really, poor excuse for a large company like Canon, theres over 2,000 Canon imployees in the UK... a few of them have probably got some spare holidays ;)

Looking at the list of exhibitors, it looks like Canon aren't the only ones who have decided to give it at miss but Nikon and Olympus will be there.

One thing, following the naming of the 10D and the 20D it of course makes sense for the next camera in that line to be called 30D, but isnt it a bit flawed when just before the 10D they had the D30 and D60.

There are still many D30 bodies around and now they come up with a 30D. Dunno sounds like a very short sighted clumsy naming scheme for a company that is by all accounts running the show!

I am almost starting to prefere the american approach to naming, where they just come up with some 'cool' word like Rebel, Elan. The whole point of numbers is for them to make some kind of chronological sense.
