It's not great but at least it has i drive, the decent gearbox and is a current gen car. About as good as you can hope for at that money.

Put it this way, she is upgrading from a '99 1.0l Automatic Micra

. It has 54bhp (when it was built), feels like half that when trying to get up to speed on the motorway. It has a cute little "sport" button on the gear stick

anything is an upgrade from her current death trap.

It's not a single clutch style box.. it's a 'traditional' torque converter based automatic.

Drove the focus, it was nice. Not keen on the lane recognition camera jobbies. You can turn them off though. It seemed to have every other sensor available, like blind spot alarm, auto everything, etc. BMW unfortunately had a mix up and did not have an auto 1 series available for demo. Next week.
