Focus WRS ?

Just spotted a white 06 plate Focus WRS. I've never heard of that particular model before and no doubt this has been asked before, is it just a body kit on a normal Focus or is it a rebaged ST with a few add ons ?

I've done a google, but havent come up with any info on the model.

Its the new model on an 06 plate, so i'd assume that the RS doesnt exist anymore thats why its a bit confusing. Funnily enough my father mentioned seeing one (WRS) a few months ago and i said to him that it must have been an ST as the RS isnt made anymore. He was right enough though given i've just seen a WRS.

sounds like a dealer "special" to me , chuck a lod of tat on it and convince gullible punters that it's soemthing special

No it certainly doesnt look like that at all, and given both myself and my father have both seen a WRS in completely different places, the chances of it being the same car are very slim.

That would be my thoughts as well. It does look very nice though and a little more that just stuck on tat. If i was to take a guess, i'd say it was a rebaged ST.

Possibly, there were no stripes or anything and it was completely white. I cant for the life of me remember now if it had the second spoiler on the rear or not

It obviously had a WRS badge where the ST badge would be.

You see, thats what i thought (just noticed you mentioned it in the op, which i didnt spot). I remember reading somewhere about a limited edition White Focus RS, which is maybe what WRS stands for..........then again, maybe im making this up, but im sure it was posted on this forum.

It's possible that its M-Sport doing testing of the WRC rally car, they are based in the lakes and quite often head up to the scottish borders for road/stage testing (cars are white before they are liveried up). Haven't seen anything similar on any of the owners club sites.

It certainly looks very nice, and to be honest it looks a lot like i would expect a new model RS to look like. If someone has just made it up, or if it is just a dealer special they have done a nice job of it.

I actually saw it parked out in front of someones house on my way up to the hospital this morning. Im kind of regretting not going across to have a closer look at it now.
