Focusrite 212 & Which Speakers

Hi

Looking at getting better sound than my cheap Logitech PC speakers.

Bought a Focusrite 212 cheap from someone at work, and wandering which speakers would bes best with them - budget around £150.

Have looked at the JBL LSR305, is there anything else I should consider?

Main use is Music and Gaming.

If you can afford the JBL's, then they are worth the money. If you can't, then Presonus Eris 4.5 are a great choice. £125 is the cheapest I can see, which is a very good price. They've been higher than £150 on occasion. Not as good as the LSR305, but they are better than their £125 price suggests.

M-Audio Bx5 D3 are also very good, but I think they are pretty much the same price as the JBL's. They're a little more than the D2 were and I personally I'd prefer the JBL's.

There is a large selection of active monitors out there, price for a pair of Behringer MS16's £58.50, SubZero SZSM-4A Studio Monitors (Pair) with Stands £139.99, checkout the music hardware sites and see which one's you like then see if there is a youtube demonstration of them?
