Folder comparison.

Hi,

Does anyone know of any software like Free file synch that complares 2 folders but then allows me to copy the differences to another folder?

Synctoy, it will do the copying/synchronising/mirroring for you!!

I've used it for years!!

FFs does what I need it to re copying/mirroring, thats not what I want to do, I want to find the differences between 2 folders and then copy the differences only to a third folder so I can analyse just these files..

Winmerge will probably do the job.

Synctoy does that for you (comparing both folders for missing/updated files)... but then synchronises the folders for you too if you want!!

I use fastcopy, right click options are good. not as automated as Synctoy but I've seen Synctoy and Robocopy both miss files in the past.
