Folder Permission

Just been playing with the folder permissions on a folder trying to make it so only my user can access that folder, so I removed all the permissions except system and my own, however i forgot to give myself full control or write / modification access.

So At present I can view and open the files in the folder but I can't make any changes i.e. add a folder or another file or change existing files.

Any ideas how I can reset the folder to the old permissions or at least get the Admin user back on with full access ?

Can't you alter the perms now else go into Advanced and take ownership of the top level folder, this should then allow you to add perms in for yourself.

added the admin to the top level but it doesn't seem to be filtering down to the sub folders, instead when it tries its coming back with permission dennied
