Hi guys,
Sorry if this isn't in the correct forum, couldn't think where would be best.
Basically I have an issue wherein I have two users who I will refer to as A and B.
User A is a company director
User B is his PA
User A wants User B to be able to view a few specific folders from his Office 365 Outlook account in their own outlook, so User B can reply etc. on behalf of User A.
I've tried a few ways to do this using powershell, I am able to assign permissions and automap User A's entire inbox, but I am struggle assigning a specific folder/subfolders so User B can see only what they need to.
The folder in power shell is listed like this:
Get-MailboxFolderPermission [email protected]:\Inbox\Awaiting
All of the folders that User B requires are under the Inbox\Awaiting parent, but it seems that's it's all or nothing.
Can anyone assist? It seems that User B can't add any folders until they have permission to view the entire inbox rather than just the permissions they already have to view the "Awaiting" folder.
If that makes sense, please can someone assist!
Cheers,
Jamie
