Folder permissions

Hi,

No doubt this question is really obvious but it's Friday, and i can't get my brain i to gear.

Is it possible to have a shared folder so that some users can ONLY write to it yet others have full access? I basically want some users to save their documents to a particular folder, but once it's in there they can edit/delete/modify what's in that folder.

Yeah, After the folder is setup for sharing, its done via, Righting click the folder, Sharing and Security.


Security Tab, You then add in\amend the usernames\group of people you want to have full access, And select the access you wish them to have in the section below.

And Vice versa for limited access.

You could use the "creator owner" group.
Give standard users access to just create files.
Give creator owner full access.

Might take some tweaking to get it the way you want it.
