Sure you've applied it to the right OU (ie the user not the computer)?
Does the user have proper access to the share used for redirection?
Event logs??

I'm afraid "it doesn't work... what's wrong" doesn't give us much to work with.

You really should not be messing with something you know nothing about.

I suggest researching it properly and not asking a hard ware forum about how to do it.

We're in 'Windows & Other Software', a place where people come to discuss and seek support for 'Windows & Other Software'.

TBH he/she is not asking in a hardware forum, and rightly shouldn't be.

OP, run gpresult on a machine (logged on as said user) which you expect the policy to be applied to. Most of these problems are easily sorted, run that, check the results and post back.

*Sorry if I'm a bit vague, had a few beers*

Oopps, problem solved I see : )

GP can take a little while to apply sometimes but it can be quickened by doing a gpupdate /force in the command prompt.

If it still doesnt work do a gpresult /v >c:\gp.txt and then have a look at the output. You might find that for some reason the user isn't getting the policy applied to them (correct OU? link GP object to OU?)

do you want to redirect folders per user or per workstation?

per user.
