Folder size in status bar in Vista?

I'm not sure which status bar you want exactly, but you can get at the tools menu by clicking Organize, Layout, Menu Bar. That should help you.
 
No you've misunderstood. In previous versions of windows the size of the folder you are currently viewing is displayed in the status bar at the bottom of the window, this is not present in Vista and the only way I can see to find the size the contents of a folder is to select everything.

btw you can get the menubar by pressing alt
 
Hah, I didn't know about the ALT, thanks! :cool:

You could go back one branch in the folder tree & hover over the folder name to get the size.
