Folders in vista

Hi people, problem i have is i set my folders to large icons.

Then i go back to that folder and the folder icons won't stay as i want, some times they do then other times they will go to medium icons then small icons any ideas.

It's not such a problem just a pain i don't get this prob with my other comp although that's running xp.

Large Icons?! What are we, in kindergarten?

I loathe the Windows Explorer in Vista.

Is there a setting to get rid of the default toolbar and just have the Menu toolbar?
