Hi guys :-)

I'm getting folders that are dropped in the root directory of some of my drives. They have long hexadecimal names. If I try to delete one of them, the system thinks that the folder is access denied. However, I know it is safe to delete once the update has completed and I have rebooted. I find that it happens in safe mode too.

Solution - Google for "Unlocker". Install it as a shell extension, then use the Unlocker in the context menu of the folder that you want to get shot off. It takes a few seconds / up to a minute for it to work, then it actually works. You'll get an acknowledgement saying that "The object was deleted", then you click OK on it to dismiss it.

So yes, here's a problem and a solution. I hope it's useful :-)
