Folding ebike (Brompton?) opinions

Having started a new job I'm considering cycling into work two or three times a week. It would need to be a folding bike so I can carry it to my desk. It is a route of about 15 miles each way (so 30 miles per day). An ebike seems to make sense nowadays rather than a traditional bike. I have a lot of waterproof clothing from when I rode a motorbike so will be able to keep warm and dry in cold and wet weather.

Are Brompton folding ebikes worth the money over other folding ebikes?
Are there any other ebike brands I should be considering?
What sort of range can I expect from the Brompton or most ebikes?

Thanks.

Thank you, much appreciated. I am getting on in years too so would probably want full assist. I could definitely make it one way to work without a charge but think I might need to charge it there for the return journey - just not sure if my new employer would say anything about me plugging it in at my desk (probably no issue I guess).

Price wise, the bike would probably pay for itself in about a year with the saving on train and tube fares. So the Brompton would be feasible.
