I am going to borg my car!

... Well i'm going to borg my car pc when I get it.

I havn't decided what processor yet, but it will be a C2D with 1Gb of ram.
Obviously because I dont drive 24/7 it will only be crunching standard WU's, but it will be interesting to see how much PPD I get out of it.

I was under the impression they were pretty weak as PSUs go

wireless would work if close enough to the house I guess - would need a couple of extra backup clients though

I'm in the process of getting a car pc set up, it's only a 1.2Ghz Nehemaih MII (an update of the old VIA C3). I reckon it will be completely useless at folding :eek:

I can't post a linky as its to a competitor, but it literally is a pc designed to run off of a cars power source.

I'm gonna have wireless so that how i'll get on the internet.
There's a free wireless hotspot in my town, plus there is wireless at work and to some extent at home, so finding a place to upload/download won't be a problem, i'll just have to keep an eye on the clients using fahmon.

C2D's aren't that power-hungry, and RAM uses next to no extra power.
