Folding fundamentals

Sorry for posting the noob question guys, but basically my aged rig is still going strong (E8500 c2duo) but over the years I have upgraded my gpu so have a HD6850 at present.

In the folding options I have the GPU - barts pro chugging away when I am not using the machine and my CPU set to fold on medium (says 1 cpu and in task manager folds between 30-40%).

Have I set this up correctly as the gpu seems to obtain more work (PPD) or should I ignore the GPU and just fold 100% on CPU when I can?

Any contribution to the cause is beneficial. If you're thinking about improvements, consider the power requirements of whatever you do as the running costs can quickly overwhelm the initial investment costs.
