I've downloaded the console version of Folding@Home and put a copy in 2 seperate directories. I've run each one with the switches '-local' and '-config' and set them up what I think it the correct way. Both have the same username and team number, and one has machine ID 1, and another has machine ID 2. Is there any way to check to see if I've configured them correctly?

Thanks,

Michael.

check your task manager, the cpu usage should be at 100% on both cores if both are running perhaps.

Yeah the CPU usage is 100%. What I'm worried about is if the work each instance is doing is conflicting with the other instance. Both of them are currently working on exactly the same project, and I'm worried this means I've done something wrong!

No thats how it should be.

Ive just done the same, and seems quite happy running at full pelt. But, does anyone know an easy way to close the console clients as i cant have them running with TeamSpeak and games otherwise it lags it all.

Did you tell it to auto start as a service? You can then just restart the pc and not have the windows running.
