I didn't know what had gone wrong, just that my v7 client appeared to have crashed, showing blankness in any of the current activity and that it was trying to update.

Ended up completely uninstalling all the foldy stuff. Reinstalling, and it seems to have been fine over the last 12 hours with GPU's still running.

Even allowing for the end of those lovely beta GPU WUs my PPD is apparently 10-15K higher than before that beta thing started. That might though be the regrading of some of the GPU WUs you posted about elsewhere? And perhaps the crash is a result of some data update to deal with revised PPD credits that didn't take properly in the client?
 
As of this morning according to the blog things have been sorted. So give it a go again now. If you still have probs pause again til we get further news. Woohoo my ATI is folding again, albeit @ <40%, but that's better than zero.
Can't believe Vijay gave up most of his weekend to sort this - that's devotion for you :D
