Hi guys

There will be a bit of a break from the news soon, I'm moving house so it will be at least a few weeks, possibly longer depending on how quickly I can get my rigs back up online. Obviously it will be a high priority :p Depending on when my broadband gets cut off there might be news next week
 
Hey guys have become very frustrated with my dual cpu rig, totally unstable with whea error, totally useless for folding.

I've now got both my 970's back (my brother had one) I've installed into my x79 Deluxe and they are running on F@H again and all stable.

Not quite sure what to do with dual cpu rig as its been more trouble than its worth, can't MM it really unless I know what's causing the error. Maybe I'll rip it to pieces and work through a fix.

Wife is at me to offload some of my hardware which I have to agree is probably a good idea. 4 pc's a laptop and an imac lying around is crazy right??

Maybe sell some stuff on and upgrade to some 1080's ???
 
I did a clean install of Win 10 Pro this morning with dual 970's. On installing NVidia drivers I ran ok until I was 66% into installing folding@home. Machine froze, on restart I got back into desktop then instant Whea error again, happens completely at random its so frikin annoying. I'm gonna strip it down reseat everything, clean install again and try my spare 780 in there for testing.
While running BONIC it never actually failed it was only if I ran Bonic and Folding together when it BSOD's.

Tempted to revert back to Win7 Pro, I've seen a few posts from people who get this error after moving to Win10. If only I could find my install disk !

I'm not overclocking anything, boot drive is Nvme M.2 with two 256gb Samsung 840's for storage. 2Ghz Xeons with 16gb ram for each cpu.

Ah weird problem, im having fun trying to get into my asus maximus vi bios, can only see the mouse pointer and rest is black screen, posted in motherboards and nobody would even give a suggestion lol, now i gota drain it down and take it back to basics if i can find the stock fan, ho hmmm
 
Ok i have it running again still with Win10 but only with one 780Ti installed I'm stress testing the cpu with CPUZ and also using HWMon to check temps.
No the cpus are 66 & 61 degs, but there is one called CPUTIN its reading 99-100 degs ! SYSTIN reads 115 degs ! Surely that can't be correct??

Away to trying folding on the 780 but no BONIC at same time.
