Here's the news guys, not sure what the weather is like in the UK but here in Poland it's over 30 and I'm literally walking round in my pants. Hope your rigs aren't suffering :)
 
Yay it's news time :D

A slight drop in output this week. Too much gaming at the weekend. I can see I need to keep at full tilt if I'm going to maintain No #1 single PC cruncher ahead of diogenese.

Bah, Cyprus isn't the place to be a computer enthusiast. High temperatures and high electricity prices. Cladly dressed women during the summer is a plus though :D

i've had a few lower scoring wu's yesterday which has limited my ppd a bit and I'm still crunching DPAD on the cpu ( only another 10 million till a team stomp:o )so you are safe for a bit longer :)

What were you in Dubai for? Summer just recently kicked in here, the high humidity too. My output is likely to drop for the next couple of months until it cools down a bit as I dont really want to run the AC 24x7 when I am not home, and ill be away most of August too.

Work :( So I didn't even get to see more than what I could see from either the office window or the hotel window.
 
Well, I've managed to get the second Intel 4P rig running :)

Unfortunately, I've had to borrow half the memory from the first rig - so both are running around 75% effective - each can manage 750k on 8104's so still more than the AMD 4P.

Just running a normal smp unit on the second rig - running it in and checking for faults.

All seems good so far though :D

I've had to lower the Titans back to stock and the 780's to just over stock settings - cause it's getting rather toasty in here ;)
 
Got everything running now (apart from a 550 Ti - but not to bothered about one GPU)....

Estimated points per day: 3.15M :D

That should put me just outside of the top twenty for Team Production ;)

This is with a couple of 8101's and the two Intel 4P rigs running at 75% of optimal.

Not to shabby me thinks.

Only downside is lectric is around 57p per hour - which puts me around £410 per month :eek: :eek: :eek:

given your Intels are only at 75% working form, im guessing with them been at 100% and getting rid of them gpus your electric will drop 30/40% ?? yet ppd will still pull 3m ppd?

4 x 680
7 x 660

if that's correct I bet its 30/40% electric reduction easy

It's currently:

2 x Titans
2 x 780's
4 x 680's
4 x 660Ti's

So once I loose the 680's & 660's lectric bill should drop to around £300 pcm and PPD might break 3M on a good day.

Once I sort the memory shortage on the Intels things will improve.

Although, even with half memory on the Intel's they are only 60k ppd behind Biffa's with the 8103 wu's :D

did you buy them titans new? im guessing your old gpu sales covered a good amount of the cost.

if ever you get into trouble with money at least you have £1000's worth invested in computer tech to fall back on lol :D

also noticed biffas overheating 4p is still down for repair

The Titans & 780's were spankingly new from OcUK at a cost close to £3000 :eek:

But the sale of the previous GPU's accounted for half the cost :cool:


I'm still waiting on the return of £650 from a cancelled order of two 7970's from a less reliable source - until this happens I won't be ordering the new memory for the Intel's.

PPD wise I'm currently 16th but that with 2M PPD - should make it to around 7th (6th with optimal wu's and more memory).

Will even out at 7th after I loose the 680's & 660's.

However, if I were to loose the AMD rig too I may opt for an Intel replacement

Wages wise - your not to far off the mark ;)
