My stats should improve now that I am folding correctly and have advanced methods enabled. Looking forward now to breaking into the top 100. :D

My guess is he's doing a burn-in test of new PCs at a school or college and will disappear again in September or October. 26 active clients is a lot for an individual to produce all at once.
 
GTX670 in the mail. :D

Soon i'll have a 670 and a 570 and an i7 920 folding away, and that will be my folding setup for the forseeable future. :)

you get bouns points once you have done more than 10 work units, also have you added the anything to the gpu slot?

if you open the folding program and click configure a new box will open, in there you will see a tab saying slots , if you click this you will see it says

if you double click the gpu one it will then open another box , at the bottom of the box you will see it says extra slot options and there is 2 boxes that say " add " and " remove " . click on the add box and another little box opens , type this in so it looks like this

name: client-type
value: advanced

then just click ok on all the boxes till they all close, this will have your gpu produce far better points

As oz says but you only get bonus points if you have a passcode so make sure you've got one allocated and configured in the client.
 
I don't know why they don't enable advanced mode by default. Most new cards would be well able to hack it.
 
Probably because most people don't have new cards :)

If they didn't put it in advanced then people wouldn't have a choice.

As far as Stanford are concerned its the science that counts not the points, and all types of science need to be done, hence the different client types.

Sorted out the passcode as soon as I downloaded it :).

Edit: After completing the last GPU task it increased (thanks to the advanced settings I guess). Points Per Day: 36793

Started folding again the past 4 days after a few weeks downtime on just my main PC and reached 5M as of today to compensate for the downtime gaining 82k PPD, back to normal once I sort out dedi (reinstall OS, drivers, etc) this week. Would have done that today but Rome:TW2 is ready to play and have to check it out :)
