------------------------------

Slightly early news this week as I'm out of the office on a training course all day tomorrow.

So the stats are basically a week back from today, so Thursday to Thursday this week. :)

There is a new folding client, V7, I've not had time to check it out yet, it came through on the folding RSS feed but here are the details:

https://fah-web.stanford.edu/projects/FAHClient/

It looks like it's a GUI version to replace all the individual systray and console clients.

Tah for the news dekez, my GTS450 should hopefully be waiting for me today so that should will be a 12k ppd increase, although closer to 8k or so given the time I loose with the internet being switched off overnight. It will push me firmly back into the top 20 at least.

well ive got the new client setup ready to run after my current clients finish thier current WU's
I'm going to run it on my XP system which now seems to be running properly after a PSU Transplant as all 3 of my gpu clients are running as well as my smp client.

Will advise how it works with a phenom II X6 1090t a 9800GX2 and 8800 GTS 512 system in the next few days

GTS450 in and folding away merrily at 900/1804/800

Currently producing 8.5k on a P6801, with 2:18TPM which from a quick google seems normal as a stock card is around 30 secs slower.

Nice! First time in the top 20 producers but ... unfortunately I will be away for a week from work and a half starting thrusday next week so my production will go down then :(

Thanks for the news Dekez:)

Ive upped the clocks on Hydra she is now at 2.4 with a theoretical ppd on 6901's over 400k:)

Problem is ive run up to the max my psu will give , waiting on the arrival of an AX1200 (single 12v rail:))

Just noiced she has no work(from 04.20 thismorning) will have to sort it when i get home from work:mad:

Work unit lottery sucks.

From what I can make out I'm getting poor WUs on the GTS450 as I'm currently getting 9k ppd in HFM and should be expecting around 12k IIRC, at least the spate of P6701/2s seems to be over on my SMP client. I might switch the media rig back on
as well as thats another 2.5k or so ppd.

70k+ ppd is a lot to lose.

Well after testing the new V7 client for a few hours I'm not impressed with it
It might just be with my particular config or they still have quite a few bugs to work out of it
When running three gpu clients it seemed to be throttling one of my GX2 clients to 50% and every so often up at 100% for a few secs.
So Ive stopped it running gpu clients for the moment and restarted my normal gpu console clients and all three of my GPUs run at full speed.

However in saying that i have noticed a slight increase in speed on my smp client, so i will continue to test it out with a few more Wu's just running SMP.
