The news returns!!

Apologies for the absence of news for the last few months, sometimes real life gets in the way of things

I've not had time to check the stats so if there are any problems please let me know and I'll have a look when I get chance.

The team comparison still needs to be fixed so I've left that off.

Anyway it's good to be back and I should be folding again soon too

Yay it's the return of the foldy news

Looks like a bit of a leap in output from the single crunchers what with Diogenese and myself having a bit of supercharged mutli cpu / gpu thingys all in one box.

There might be a bit of a problem with the millionaire tiffys. I think the numbers are OK, but the layout as displayed is odd.

Corrected, I forgot that the spacing on the script is a bit odd and I have to manually correct after.

Also anyone know what happened to the image folding sigs? Is it a temporary glitch or are they gone for good?

I cant remember his username, but he took down the server that hosted the sigs , he did make a thread letting people know before he did it

wow, did something change recently. I just got back to folding after a few months hiatus and when i checked PPD in the client control for the current work units it says PPD 203133 !!!! runing 2 x 7950 and a 2500k. That's mental. In March I knowcked out 640K points for the month, 8 days into December and I have churned out 500K already !!!! and my machine isn't even on 24/7 ??

The newer GPU units give substantially better performance from AMD cards. Two of them are doing you wonders

Inlet at the bottom of the rig clogged with dust I assume it overheated.

Zero output until its replaced might have to cannibalise another rig.

Ppd seems about right, maybe a bit low. Check which driver you are using, the R331 drivers give low folding results. IIRC the one to use is 326.8 beta.

146K PPD now with a mild OC and tweaked fan to keep the GPU cool.

Will have to pause for some gaming in a bit but now I know i'm on the right track.

im convinced dekez has a P4 from somebody LOL hes dumped 700k already today!!!!!!!

edit - I know he has a P4, hes dumped 300k alone on the last points update
