Happy new year everyone!

Welcome to the new members of the team and congrats to all the tiffy winners. Production is down a bit but I expect it will increase again as people settle into the new year and start playing with new toys

For me I'm back up and running again, and running from loudbob as I hear his footsteps behind me! In a desperate attempt to gain some ground I foolishly up the overclock on one rig to 4.8 mid unit, and ended up crashing and loosing it . I'm just letting things be now, although just had an anoying few days of no big big units, I've 2 big ones now though so all good

Arghh, I keep picking up horrible WUs that are taking hours to crunch for useless points. Last one was a 7016. No way am I going to out PPD rizo-uk and Daniel_Reid at this rate

Meanwhile can I be added to the single crunchers list? I've given up attempting to assimilate stuff as I no longer have my fingers on the office IT system having broken it too frequently that the boss decided to find a consultant who says he knows what to do.

Cheers for the news Dekez, I've currently got everything running, figured I'd make hay before the new bigadv core requirements come into force.
What happened with your lost WU has happened to me many a time. I tend to now disconnect the machine from the internet and backup the fah folder periodically when I think I have a less that stable machine.

having a frustrating week so far, had a few poor PPD WUs. then my main machine decided it didn't want to boot into windows after having been fine for 4 months, nothing changed with the software or hardware.

System restore and windows recovery didn't help so i had to reinstall windows. it gave me a chance to rearange my loop and add another rad which it needed, i've managed to up the overclock from 4.3 to 4.7Ghz so it did have its positives. i've had a few connection problems with uploading some of the finished WUs though. everything seems to be running smoothly for the time being, hopefull it will keep this up

Don't worry, those stats are the amount crunched in a week, and the ppd, so although he is behind you in the total amount, he is producing more ppd than you and will catch you at this rate.

At least your rigs are working, I was up till 4am trying to get the SR-2 back and crunching

No, not sure, might be the PSU, nothing else has changed, unless I hurt something. I got it stable under IBT in winders so trying to get a working overclock again from scratch.

Hey Dekez - looks like you're luck is holding up......

My PSU RMA has been rejected - by Scam and Silverstone. Just waiting for Silverstone contact details to be sent (from Scam) so that I may phone them up and get quite IRATE with them.

The reason for the rejection is: We cannot replace repair/replace the PSU as it is damaged.

The conversation I had on the phone with the Scam Returns Supervisor was very colourful to say the least.

Looks like the i7 990x will be out of commission for a while longer

Could be, still no idea right now, managed to get it stable on a light overclock pushing the bus to 150mhz see how it goes for a while, but suspect I need to rip the whole thing apart and rebuild..
