It's foldy news, and probably the last time I show as active for a while now BigAdv has gone. Still a 215million tiffy is nothing to sneeze at

Awesome effort MGP well done for keeping the old girl going

You've had some good mileage out of the old girl MGP. You've been so long at the top of the single PC league, it's hard to believe you won't be there any more. It's a pity you couldn't have had another week or two as I'm down to one rig now. Would have been an interesting tussle.

I got home on Friday evening and tried to restart my 670 rig that had stopped a few days earlier. When I pressed the power button there was a flash and a crackle followed by the distinct smell of fried electrics I'm not sure what has given way as I haven't investigated yet. I was going to have a break anyway so I won't be in any hurry to get it up and running again - in fact, I'll probably identify the naughty bit and discard it and prepare the rest for selling off.

I'll leave the big rig running for a couple of weeks or so and then shut her down as well. I will be back some time in the future - probably.

Had a strange anomaly a few days ago. My output hit over a million on the 4th with one time period having 3 WUs returned for 566,000 points. I have no idea where the spike came from; whether it was some sort of high value beta WUs or something else. I'm not complaining, just curious.
