Good week guys, looks like a team stomp is on the cards this month as well :)

Some massive slacking from myself, I was away for a long weekend and decided (with some help from the gf) to shut down whilst we were away. I'm back on it now though with bigadv up and running so should have a more productive week next week.

 just lost a 60% bigadv due to vmware crashing :(

I feel for you, I've lost a few through bad overclocks and stop/starting linux, I tend to back up now when doing those things by archiving the work files and disconnecting from the internet, linux is great as you don't need to stop the client. Though this probably wouldn't of helped you as yours was unforeseeable.

Thanks for the news Dekez:)

Seems Im upto world 24 for 24hr average:D

Whats happened to Mr Biffa's output, at this rate i could be past in a month:cool:

Hey thanks for the news. I have a couple of suggestions.

1) Why not put the 'properly formatted version' at the top of the page since as you said - it is the proper format so it saves what I would have thought most people scrolling down to view the proper one.
2) Unfortunetely having no 000 separator gives me a headache, is it possible to have numbers like 500,000 back as opposed to 500000?
3) If I remember correctly we are missing the top 20 average ppd (which I thought was interesting)

Other than that, thanks for providing the updates!

just sorted out a passkey as well. didnt realise that got you extra points. disapointed with my total this week, was expecting it to be higher but just realised one of the machines has been down.

Thanks for the feedback,
1) - No problem, done
2) - Completely agree, and should be possible, I'll try to work that out for next week. edit: found the function will include next week
3) - No probs, I can put that back on for next week, the EOC PPD is calculated based on the average over a week, so that will be simple enough just to divide the weekly amount by 7.

If anyone else has any suggestions or ideas just let me know, I'll try to include it where possible :)

Thanks for the news dekez & inc me in the single's league:)

Big drop in prod. due to the Windows install from Hell last weekend:(
Out of action from Sat. a.m. to Sunday night:mad: Since then a few BSODD's have lost a couple of Wu's. Think I've got the PC stable now as 24 hrs OK.

I've got myself a passkey now for future use when I switch to SMP crunching once again. [Waiting for the Intel hexcores to come out & see how they perform against the AMD ones]

Welcome to the team newbies.:)

Anyone got any suggestions to increase my dumpage?

Running smp -4 on an i7 @ 4.2
Running GPU client on OC 480

I have the thirst to get the most possible :P

Yep turn HT on in bios, get yourself a passkey and run smp -8 -bigadv
35K at least on that i7 :)

Been off work ill this week, Weebestie is down and I need to get it physically rebooted :( and I have been struggling moving Gemini to Linux stable with all my virtual machines.

Sorry to hear of your troubles Mr B Im glad to be running native linux by the sounds of it.

My problem is that i dont seem to be getting any reasonable offers on my 6176's (last offer war £175 each:() so i might just have to buy another motherboard and build HydraII.

I already have a psu ,coolers and ram to go with the processors just got to see if it will go in my 5u server case.......................................what am i saying do you need 48 cores to run a media server:confused:

Yes -bigadv is for the big wu's that need 8 cores (physical or logical) to complete and give better points than -smp if returned within 4 days.

and also on both rigs, i have noticed that running a cpu and gpu client together slow each other down, which is gonna crunch faster out of

Phenom ii 1055t x6 @ 4.2ghz or a radeon 6970 2gb

and

Phenom ii 955be @ 4.0ghz or a radeon 2900XT 512mb
