As expected a drop in production this week with the bigadv points reduction, but not to worry as it will be affecting everyone else as well. I imagine we'll see a bit more of a reduction next week as well before the dust settles.

Despite this there was an impressive increase from DarkendViper, I take it your secret plans came through ok? :)

Honourable mentions to Sir-Les-MP, snapsh0t_too and R5GTT who had some nice increases in production as well.
 
There I am! Glad to finally be on the team heh. Figured it was about time to start up folding again, and decided to switch from my old team (now disbanded) and get crunching for OcUK.
I have a fair bit to bring online in the next week or so, at the minute I have 4xsingle CPU clients folding part-time and a 9800GT part time. Will be adding another part time 8800GT from tomorrow, plus my own rig once it's built, plus the family's PC will be getting an OC'd quad core upgrade shortly too.
Hopefully I'll be able to level off around 40K or so, not much compared to the top producers but every little helps, right?

Looks like everyone is affected by the cut in points, but I have a plan. Nothing I can do about HP but I think I might be able to put us clear of anyone else for a while.
 
Well the plan certainly seems to be working, hopefully this week there should be another increase from me. How much more points if HP producing than us a week?

Daily gain is 1,265,774 :eek:

So about 8-9 million a week :(

The other teams on our six are between 200-500K daily gain. I think we could hold them off with a couple of new folders and some "tweaking" :)

HP are out producing us by 1,433,382 PPD, so not a lot we can do about that unfortunately, I like the sound of these plans though Viper and Biffa, all good for the team. :)
 
Hey, team. Nice to see everyone outta gum and kicking ... :D I have been dead for ages due to personal reasons, change of jobs and my dedicated folding project hitting a few snags; however, I'm planning a semi-glorious come back! Watch out for me putting my new GTX 570 through its paces on the charts, in a week or so. ;)

Been a bad week for me lots of 2684's then i messed up langouste when i restarted the client putting in the wrong port number lost a day:rolleyes:
 
Great day today,, NOT:o:o

Turned my pc on this morning, to see if I'd won the £166m from last night :(
Left it to boot, came back to find the desktop icons extra big with a messages from F@H saying no GPU could be found. hmmm

Spent all today troubleshooting trying to install the nivdia drivers, every time it says it can't detect any hardware, so

Tried uninstalling drivers etc, When I go into device manger it says its working ok but its not named 470 just vga driver, but it keeps installing the standard Microsoft VGA drivers, so
I tried booting from an old hard drive with Vista installed had the same as above.

Took delivery of a nice new 2TB HDD which, i was going to spend my day moving data about :cool:

So to be safe I did a clean install of W7 on the 2TB which has the same problem

Going into the bios it doesn't display the GPU either :(

So im guessing MR GTX 470 has DIED :mad:

???

And to make things worse, I'd thought I'd turn my bro's pc on to check his bios and few settings, turn the power there was a medium "BANG" / "POP" nose > which tripped the electrics in the house :(

Now the thing won't turn on Great - two pc's ******** :(

Sorry to hear about that, like they say when it rains it pours :(, can you RMA or do you have to buy new?
 
Will RMA back to Zotac
Its a right pain tbh, got to take it out the loop first, then put the stock cooler back :(

Will get the RMA sorted over the weekend, hopfully get it sent off in the week some time, don't know what Zotac's turn around time is like, assuming i'll either send it back to the retailer or Zotac them selfs, so probably 2/3 weeks wait

My board doesn't have an on-board gpu either :(

I used to do a bit of folding anonymously many years ago and I thought I'd try it again and help out Team 10! (if only very modestly). I've just got the clients setup today, still tinkering, and I've made just over 10k points in the last 24h thanks mainly to my GPU.

I've got 1 GPU & 4 CPU clients running as much as I can.

I see you're in West Sussex do you venture up to London at all? If so you are more than welcome to borrow one of my 460s until your RMA comes through :)

Cheers for the offer :D yea im Littlehampton way not far from London, no plains to head up there any time soon tho atm.
Ordered some Phobya hose clamps and Bitspower Sealing Plugs which will make taking the gpu out much easier hopefully :)
I'll let know if i need the 460's :)
