got the fury x today so i might put it on for a day or so if its not too hot to see how it does. seems to draw around 400w under full load in a system.

Thanks for the news.
 
I just fold and fold irrespective of weather or temperature until a card dies, then I get a warranty replacement from the manufacturer. I've only ever had two die though. :p
 
got the fury x going, the system is pulling 310w from the wall and its getting 575k ppd at 4% into its first wu, the temps are great at 51c max and fans speed is just at 15% :p

I see. Don't void the warranty -- a popped cap is just a classic with electronics, lol. Shouldn't be too bad if it's via OCUK. :) Was it factory overclocked? As everyone keeps telling me, Fury's HBM memory is rather odd and clocking it higher than spec causes problems.

Haven't looked into this myself.

yes the original buyer is helping out with rma from ocuk, so hopefully it goes well. i am lucky though because this card is third hand.

while thats being dead i have put a 7870 and 7850 in and they are getting 200k between them, which isnt terrible.
