Congrats all, epic stuff.
Only a few months now and I'll be back, thoughts are swirling round my head as to what to build...;)
 
Yay News and I bagged me a 15million tiffy :D

2 teams stomped in one week can't be bad. Must be all the extra power from the GPU beta things, and the efforts of our mad trio of ba, biffa and loudbob.

But I really do hope we don't have to wait another 183 weeks for the next stomp. EOC suggests it's only 1.3 months away. So who is correct?

Ooh yeah.. just passed 55,000 Work units! And coming up on my 1/2 a beeelion points some time in early July :eek:

Hi Guys,

I've sold 2 of my DL360 G5's, they used to generate between 20k and 30k ppd and draw 560w. What GPU can I buy for £200 that will match or exceed that kind of performance.

Team total up again - nice one team :cool:

These zeta GPU WUs are a welcome boost. I chucked the 4th 670 in the server yesterday when I got home from work and it boosted my PPD to 420k+. Just bunged it in to test it as I'm going to be working on both PCs over the next few days. I will be running at a greatly reduced capacity for the next few days while I switch things around and work on getting the SR-2 up and running.

Back up to nearly full strength. Still not in a position to finish the SR-2 yet - soon though.

In the meantime, I redid the gaming rig. One of the few things I like about Windows 8 is the ability to reset the OS - basically a re-install - without having to faff about with disks and stuff, it just wipes everything, cleans it up and you start from scratch. It gives you the option to wipe all drives or just the one Windows is on. All my files are on a separate drive so I just wiped the C drive, ran Ninite to re-install the programs I use and off I go again.

I took 2 of the 670s out of it and put in the 690 in along with the 3rd. Spent a large part of yesterday evening and into the wee small hours overclocking and benchmarking (with the help of half a bottle of Balvenie Peated Cask 17yo ;)). One thing I discovered is that, having a 670 as a dedicated Physx card along with a 690 makes absolutely no difference in any of the game benchmarks I ran. Also tried putting a second 670 in there until I get the SR-2 finished but the stupid motherboard will only recognise 3 GPUs :rolleyes:

Put 2 of the 670s in the server for now so I'm back up to the stage I was at a few days ago; i.e. 3x670s and a 690 all Folding. I'll have to wait to get the 4th 670 Folding. Managed to squeeze a slightly higher OC out of the 690 as well as an extra 100MHz out of the 3770K - every little helps :)
