Odd this, I'm having a bad day with the F@H servers. Earlier, I couldn't connect to the assignment servers...

Code:
[18:51:14] + Attempting to get work packet
[18:51:14] - Connecting to assignment server
[18:51:14] Couldn't send HTTP request to server (wininet)
[18:51:14] + Could not connect to Assignment Server
[18:51:14] Couldn't send HTTP request to server (wininet)
[18:51:14] + Could not connect to Assignment Server 2
[18:51:14] + Couldn't get work instructions.
[18:51:14] - Error: Attempt #8 to get work failed, and no other work to do.
			 Waiting before retry.
[19:02:05] + Attempting to get work packet
[19:02:05] - Connecting to assignment server
[19:02:05] Couldn't send HTTP request to server (wininet)
[19:02:05] + Could not connect to Assignment Server
[19:02:05] Couldn't send HTTP request to server (wininet)
[19:02:05] + Could not connect to Assignment Server 2
[19:02:05] + Couldn't get work instructions.
[19:02:05] - Error: Attempt #9 to get work failed, and no other work to do.
			 Waiting before retry.
... and I still can't connect to the results servers...
Code:
[19:11:31] Couldn't send HTTP request to server (wininet)
[19:11:31] + Could not connect to Work Server (results)
[19:11:31] (171.64.122.112:8080)
[19:11:31] - Error: Could not transmit unit 07 (completed April 1) to work server.
Is anyone else having this problem, or is it just me for some reason?

After having had a look at the server status page I see that assignment server .112 is registering "full." IIRC this means that it is just very busy. To be sure the problem is not on your side, try pinging the server's address with a few bytes of data. Go to http://171.64.122.112/ and see if you get a printed message of "OK."

Try changing a few settings for your FAH installation to see if you get bumped to a different assignment server in the mean time.

doesn't seem to be a problem here at the moment although I see this was happening yesterday

i was sure that the "wininet" message was usually specific to a local problem with your connection rather than a problem at stanford, i've most often seen that message when people are new to folding and have a firewall blocking access - don't suppose you've just installed/activated a new firewall and haven't allowed FAH access?
