Folding + Vista

Yep it runs fine, but if you want it to run as a service, you have to run the setup as administrator.

Also i found it best not to put the F@H folder in program files. I put it in the folder, where the documents and picture folders are.

Why? Surely it doesn't make any difference?

I'm only guessing but easier to navigate to?

Windows likes to hide programme files to try and force people into using uninstall instead of just deleting folders.

This is not a bad thing, users should not delete application files lol :)

Then again uninstallers should uninstall all the files and not leave anything behind

If you use UAC as I did, the program files folder is safeguarded against modification unles you are elevated to admin. Every now and then, actually probably eveytime folding downloaded a new core, it would error because it didn't have rights to change the files.

But the user folder isnt protected like that, so it carried on as if it were on xp.
