Just wondered how long it usually takes for one WU on an opty @2.6, I've been running for one hour and only 1%, is this normal (im used to quick times of SETI)?

it depends totally on what project number you're working on

my current project is a p2390 which is worth 1112 points and takes about 1hr45 per 1% on my 2200MHz T-Bred, other projects are only worth 30 points and will fly past

check your folding log (or the client if using the graphical version) for what project you're doing and then check it on this page

That explains it, then. That WU is just about the longest you can get at the moment, but is worth pretty good points.

Assuming you dont get landed with those cursed 56 pointers that take a day on Athlon 64's.

On a processor i would think the average for Work Units would be just under a day if running 24/7 unused otherwise.
