Foldy Production down, don't know why?

Can anyone tell me why my foldy production is down, all my borgs are running and set up using the foldy guide at the top of this forum. All I seem to get is yucky 396 pointers which is hammering my output. I was always in the top 10 dumpers yet I seem to be down to 20thish now.
was averageing 2000 points a day now its down to under 1500 and still dropping :eek:

Don't worry in English. If you have bad WUs, like those 396ers then you can expect a production drop. Those things take around 3 days on my [email protected] so they obviously can take much longer on slower computers.

You could try setting -advmethods on all your clients as I haven't had a crappy WU this week to my knowledge since changing.

i've got -advmethods on all my borgs and on my 4400+ @ 2.5 its about 3 days too. but all I get is 396/392 pointers.

That is unfortunate. I wonder if it is due to the sever maintenance stanford are up to. It could well be that the -advmethods work is unavailable.

However, you can try a little trick that sometimes works. Go into your clients and set them to ask for Deadlineless work. At the end of your current WU it will change server to look for the deadlineless work, there isn't any going so your client will sit idle. Change the config back to normal work and, with luck, it should change to a different work server with -advmethods work on it.

It is not a guarantee but it has worked for me many times

I've had a few horrid WUs over the last few days too - was getting all 364 pointers and the like up until then

You're not alone - I hope it's just due to the messing with the servers currently as I was enjoying the silly numbers
