I'm trying to find some font creation software for use at the college I work at. Is there any freeware or open source stuff that anybody can recommend? If not, is there something else that offers good value for money? We have a several copes of Macromedia Fontographer but I just can't get it to install (the version we have is for Windows 95 so I'm not hugely suprised).
Any suggestions people? I've had a good look around but can't find anything much but then I'm possibly looking in all the wrong places. This is the difference between a classroom full of students having to design fonts on paper or having an option to use a computer if they wish so please help me with any little bits of info you might have.
