i have just installed foobar, so far i like the simple interface. I would like to have visible treble and bass controls or graphic equalizer, is this possible, i hate having to go into the view menu every time to adjust the bass using the graphic eq. I have a subwoofer on my home cinema set up so i would like quick access to adjust the bass as sometimes it can be lacking or too heavy when listening to music.

You can do that by adding the eq ui element.

goto view-> layout, enable editing mode. then right click on a part of foobar, you will see it will come with a menu, go to add ui element, in that list is the graphic eq. Just mess around with that, add tabs and whatever else you want. Remember to disable editing mode when you are done.

many thanks mate job done, i would still prefer good ol bass and treble knobs though but thanks for your help:)

i just tried the 55hz slider on the graphic eq and it lowers the volume for some reason, i dont get that with winamp so its just foobar, weird.

thanks i tried that eq and it does the same, its a s if there is some kind of levelling thing lowering the volume when i turn up the low frequencies. I turned off replay gain but its still the same.

It might be automatically lowering the levels to avoid clipping. Not sure though.
