I was just wondering what plugins people use for foobar, i had a go customizing it last night and got nothing as good as i have seen on other peoples. I want it to be able to show album art and look a bit more polished than the plain list view

thanks for ** help

ok ive found a one i like but what do you do with all these coodes and png files :S

I've got as far as knowing the codes need to be pasted into the custom codes bit under preferences. I've never managed to get it to work though. :(

if the whole config is available to download, link me to it and i'll see if i can help set it up. :)

well i had a go but mine looks crap because my album art is only 150x150 so it's stretched and also i think i have the wrong font. and i have nasty grey borders around the panels which i don't know how to get rid of. i don't know how to do the buttons either and the progress bar doesn't work properly either so i got rid of that. i also remove the artist artwork bit as i'm guessing most people don't have artist artwork, just the album covers... :)

let me know if you still want it and i'll walk you through it. :)

edit: btw this is my config. tis rather plain compared to most but i did write the whole thing from scratch. :p

right first of all download these components if you don't already have them.

columns ui - http://yuo.be/download/foo_ui_columns-0.1.3-beta1v7.7z
single colum playlist - http://users.bowie-cass.com/singa/foobar/bin/foo_uie_single_column_playlist.zip
track info mod - http://users.bowie-cass.com/singa/foobar/bin/foo_uie_trackinfo_mod.zip
allbum art - http://cherans.bol.ucla.edu/foo_uie_albumart026.zip

extract those dlls to

program files\foobar2000\components

now i'm going to be kind and just let you download the config. no messing about with code... :p

http://merrydown.dyndns.org/foobar.cfg

browse to

documents and settings\YOU\application data\foobar2000 and overwrite the foobar.cfg in there and that's it.

DISCLAIMER: this will overwrite ALL of your foobar preferences and i mean everything. :p

i've set the menu bar to autohide so if you hover the mouse at the top of the album art, it will appear like this....

ok when i started foobar up it said that some things were missing since the last start keep settings. so i clicked no. now i have the window but its blankk nothing in it :S

i used this to get my album art.

also i just realised you might need to change a little code. when foobar is open, right click anywhere in the playlist and select settings. in the item display, find where it says

folder.png

and change it to whatever you save your album art as.
