Foobar2000 only opening 15 files at a time

Basically I can only highlight 15 tracks and open them in Foobar, if any more are selected I only have the option of opening them in WMP.

So, when I select 15 files and press enter they'll open in foobar2000. If I select 16+ and press enter they'll open in Windows Media Player.

I can drag and drop hundreds of tracks into foobar2000 with no problems.

Any ideas why?

That's strange. I've got no problem in opening more thank 15 files but it does display a warning message saying that the computer could respond slowly, but it doesn't. 15 files or less, no warning message. Maybe there's a setting in foobar somewhere.

I'll have another look through foobar2000 in a bit.

It sounds like something doesn't like me opening more than 15 files at a time. If it is a Vista feature it's a bit weird how it lets me open 16+ in WMP, but only 15 in foobar2000.

I'll see what I can do.

have issue, but well when im selecting that many i might aswell just right click and play the whole folder

I would do that but I don't like the fact that foobar2000 is on every single right click context menu once you've turned that option on

I seem to have this problem as well now you mention it. Anyone know if it's Vista or a setting in Foobar?

Found out that this bug doesn't only apply to music files. For example, if you select 15 Microsoft Word files it'll give you the option to open them. Select 16 and the option disappears. Seems to be one of the options where Windows assumes it knows what's best for my PC
