Hiya all

I've been trying to find a relatively cheap food blender, I want to make some homemade jerk seasoning and a few other bits, does anyone have any recommendations on machines please

Cheers

What exactly are you trying to achieve?

If you are trying to make pastes, buy a really big pestle and mortar.

Otherwise you want a food processor, not a blender. And a cheap food processor is awful.

So basically looking to make a paste/marinade for chicken recipes like Jerk etc... what would you recommend price wise?

We've got the top end ninja which is nice, but used more often is their mini blizzer, which is used for many things including making marinade etc

you wanna mention budget as well really. some one will add in a cheap one someone else will add in a rolls royce :D

It totally depends on how much you intend to spend we had a very very cheap all plastic Tefal blender for years and it was alright. But recently we bought a Magimix Blender Power 4

At least 5 times the price of the previous blender and it's very good, but you can buy a spice attachment for it which is a really good wet dry spice/paste blitzer and the smoothie blenders are good too. Not cheap but honestly has felt like a decent purchase, I think we must have found a deal as unlike my link the one we bought had the blender the smoothie and the spice attachments as one kit.
