Food slicer?

Has anyone got a food slicer?
Now I'm making my own meat for sandwiches, I want a food slicer. I don't want to buy something cheap or rubbish. Want something good that will work for life. But unlike other kitchen stuff, I have no idea on brands or specs needed.

Any idea on models jonny69, more than I wanted to spend. But then it's best to spend the extra and have it for life.
Depending on weight/size could even import from America. Or just wait until I go there in the summer.

It's very hard cutting thin slices of meat. I make my own salt beef and pastrami as well as bread. So a slicer really would be useful.
