My mate in work got me started on football accumulators last week, i took £10 of my own money, and got a "free bet" deal with paddy power and he gave me a good 5 game accumator tip. Which came through. He said aslong as you keep on top of the leagues etc you should be ok.

I put down £10 + £20 freebet returned £189, this was nice :)

Iv just mocked up an accumulator now.

Does anyone else do this?

never have an accumulator with spurs or newcastle in

I did last week, newcastle and leicester, and I can see what you mean, Newcastle were shocking in the first half, they pulled back by scoring in the second though but still risky concidering the other 4 games were easy.

Stan james for me, got 140 from them this weekend for picking the winners from the euro pga and us paga comps plus everton, villa and man city. nice little return of a couple of quid.

I've started to do this again this season with no more than 6 games in the accumilator with the idea being of winning more often for a smaller reward.

I usually pick from the Premier League the big teams if at home depending on there opposition, Celtic or Rangers at home, then completely ignore Championship and League One. Pick a top team from League Two if at home and then go to the Scottish 2nd league and pick a top team from there.

I'll then look at La Liga to see who is playing and if Real Madrid or Barca are at home then I'll add them in too. I nearly tripped up last week when Real Madrid won 3-2 with a last minute winner.

I've also started doing a side bet where I'll pick no more than 2 teams which are near on certs to win and bet enough to get my initial stake back from the larger accumilator. This is usually only around £2-£3. This (almost!) ensures if my £5 accumilator bet falls through I don't lose any money :)

Easier to do in the second half of the season when it's more obvious who is good/in form/has injuries/fatigued etc. Makes it easier to predict an upset and therefore bring up your accumulator with an outsider.

Athletico Madrid are one of my favourites, always get good odds for them and they seem to win most weeks

Accumulators are always nice, but rarely come off....

The last few weeks I've had Liverpool and Man Utd let me down...

All I needed was Man Utd to beat Burnley and I was in the money...

Turns out they lost. I always put an accumulator on, but I've won 2 in 2years :) Luckily I never put any more than £5 on and I rarely put a £5 on, only if its a dead cert... which it hardly is :p.

I do like putting a big one on for 50p, worth the punt

I have a bet on for the following

League winners!

Premiership - Man City 14/1
Championship - Newcastle 9/2
Div 1 - Charlton 6/1
Div 2 - Bournemouth 12/1

And I will win around £45,000 if it drops right for me :) All this for a £10 bet

So, in order for you to win the monies, all of this has to happen? All sounds good apart from city for the title :(

I hope it goes right for you though :p

Shame the Man City bet will make you lose your tenner!:p

Funny, a few people have said the same, but Ive taken a risk, and for £10 what does it matter!

I dont think Man Utd have the league this year, Chelsea are not special this year. Liverpool maybe? but they havent had a great start. So Man City is possible!

Oh and I put this bet on before the season started.

Chelsk are pretty damn good this year I'd say and Arse look good too, after that though it's anyones guess
