Hey,

Does anyone know the pressure that footballs are inflated to in the football league? If not, any website that would have the info?

Cheers,
Ben

Takin from Wiki

"Law 2 of the game specifies that the ball is an air-filled sphere with a circumference of 68–70 cm (or 27–28 inches), a weight of 410–450 g (or 14–16 ounces), inflated to a pressure of 8–12 psi, and covered in leather or "other suitable material"

I have the official FA Premier League ball (no not the cheap version!) and when I inflated it to the pressure it said to be, it was the hardest football I have ever touched. I could knock down houses with it ;) Will read the pressure off the side of the ball later on this evening. :)

I am mildly gutted to say that my expensive ball has faded :( *insert violin tune*

Anyway, 0.8 - 1.0 bar/10-16psi

I THINK! Very hard to make out but they seem to agree with each other and the post #2
