FOOTBALL MANAGER 2007 - Would this work on laptop?

I have an old P3 laptop with 800mhz and was wondering if FM 2007 would run ok on it or would it be quite slow?

would run like a dog iirc, the recommended processor has to be 1ghz

Thanks. Saves me spending the money and gettings disappointed. Ill just play 2005 which runs ok but not great.

FM2007 would actually be better than FM2005 as you can turn off the processing for every division and competition apart from the one you're managing in. When combined with a minimum database you should have better performance with FM2007.

I have FM07 running like a dream on my 1400, although the 1 gig of ram is a huge help.

Well i can always play it on my desktop which would fly but i need a laptop game low spec and always loved the FM games.

download the demo and give it a go you might be surprised, it runs better on everything I've tried it on the 2006 and 2005. I think with the advent of the XBOX versions they've been forced to spead it up to compensate for console gamers lack of patience!
