Football Manager 2010 - Worth a purchase?

How is this game? I haven't really ever played a manager game, just the FIFA/PES series. I have seen it for a tenner and was wondering if it's worth it?

It is really good mate, I would however suggest downloading demo and out then if you like just wait till football manager 2011.

I think it's a great game. Although you have to be patient getting used to the interface and building your team. All the small details matter. I think people who kind of rush it usually end up getting frustrated and then go and download some "magic" tactics off the internet and don't get the desired results and never play it again.

Ok i am on the demo now...How do i apply for a job? I look at the list, and i can't click on "Place Advert" It is greyed out. Any ideas?

With the demo its a better idea to take over a team at the start. The screen you are currently on is used by managers to hire staff, so you would place an advert for a physio or coach etc and people would respond.

I've not got the game open atm so can't be 100% but there should be a tab for Job Security. Clubs without managers should be at the top.
