Football Manager 2012 on IOS

So does anyone have any tips or advice on how to get the best out of Football Manager 2012 on IOS?

I used to be a big fan of SWOS back in the day as that was nice and basic (buy Romario = win league

), I did try getting into Champ Manager some time back but found it a bit too complicated.

Have started my first season as Arsenal so not a bad team already but do the tactics make much difference in the matches as I don't really feel I have any influence and do any of you have any advice on training etc.?

I've been playing as Liverpool and found using 4-3-3 seems to make me invincible against the top teams, currently 2nd in the league at the halfway stage.

Cheers, was 4-3-3 originally and moved to 4-4-2 to make more use of wingers but might revert.

Any amazing bargain players you've come across?

4-2-3-1 - Great formation If you have pacey/attacking wingers with a tank of a striker! (Bayern Munich) for example.
