Football Manager question.

I just accept the last minute goals as part of the game now, though last game i played last night, Arsenal scored in 90th minute, it wound me up so i shouted "haha, well done, wow, amazing!", then my team scored in 92nd minute. I pointed at screen and said "ha, take that you $%^£'s" and threw the finger at it.

lol!

Still, changed formation, seems to work a bit, as teams not used to it, but i can't just keep changing formation each season, it's stupid, as my players can't play in every ******* position.
 
The game database is the same for everyone, i fail to see how you think it is picking on you?

Do you even know what happens in real football? Seen some of the teams arsenal have lost to this season?

Do you think Alex Ferguson has his own football forum on which he complains about how unfair teams scoring in the last minute is?

Its a football simulator, and while sometimes a bit off, a very realistic one.

Change your tactics, as said above - and if you are playing FM2009, why are you even playing saivet in the first couple of seasons, he's garbage until later on?

I'm in my 4th season in 2008. I know that these things happen in real football, but their fequency is much more in FM. Like I conceded 30 preniership goals last season, about 20 of them were 25 yarders (or further), over half were in the last minutes. You might say, well why not aadjust closing down to limit long range shots? I've tried that and eventually when I found something that worked, I conceded goals because I had destroyed the spine of defense, I've tried probably a hundred tweaks and nothing has helped.
 
Agreed about Saivet, i'm coming to the end of Season 4, and my coach has just only now told me that Saivet is starting to show signs of becoming ace and needs first team football, primarily because this season i've been playing him most matches for a little bit. His stats just jump up then fast.
 
Coaches do that completely randomly, depends on performance and who else in in squad.

I wonder if it's possible to make a 'World-Class' team:

Buffon GK (Think he is)
DR ?
DL ?
DC Mexes
DC ?
MC Fabregas
MC Flamini
MR Ronaldo
ML ?
FC Aguero
FC Ibrahimovic (Legendary)
 
Barzagli is far from world-class in 2009, i sold him, has all the key stats, though they are just 17. Alves isn't as good as 2008 either. ML i guess might be robben or silva, though haven't checked.
 
Oh sorry, thought this was about 2009. Hmm let me think back off top of my head.

You're right about defenders.
